Glenna Tissenbaum creates compelling abstract paintings, working in acrylic. Driven by a relentlessly curious mind, she is constantly researching and perfecting her grasp of the next technique that will further enhance her abstract vision. Entirely self-taught, her innate understanding of color, shape, composition and form has led to her distinctive artistic style.
Her mixed-media artwork draws on a variety of collage items, such as gold-leaf, beads, rice paper and glass, to name but a few.

Her intricate 3-D diorama - Gall-Liver's Travails - is mounted on a painted revolving turntable and is comprised of found antique objects, stained glass, fabric, carved wood and children's toys.

Glenna Tissenbaum's creations can be found in private and corporate collections.
